Music Content Analyst - AI Trainer

What you'll do:

Lyric Review & Song Structure: Verify and correct lyrics for accuracy in wording, phrasing, and structure, while classifying each excerpt into its proper song section (verse, chorus, bridge, etc.).

Vocal Analysis: Identify the number of singers in each track and determine the gender of each vocalist based on the audio.

The position is remote and asynchronous - work independently from wherever you are.

Flexible hours and the ability to work remotely, with a commitment of approximately 10 to 20 hours per week.

Project work includes and is not limited to developing domain-specific prompts and evaluating LLM responses.

• Bachelor's students and graduates in Music, Music Theory, or Music Composition or related field of study
• Professional experience as a performing, recording, or touring musician.
• Strong ear for pitch, harmony, vocal layering, and arrangement.
• Familiarity with common song structures across genres.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.

This program is open to U.S.-based students, candidates, and recent graduates with valid work or training authorization (e.g., F-1/OPT, J-1, H-1B). Participants are responsible for ensuring compliance with their visa conditions and confirming eligibility with their program or visa sponsor prior to applying.

F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible for
projects on Handshake AI. Work with your Designated School Official to
determine your eligibility.  If your school requires a CPT course,
Handshake AI may not meet your school’s requirements. STEM OPT is not
